Klune Industries is pleased to announce the addition of a Mauser-Zeiss CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to our complement of process capabilities. This machine is capable of measuring parts up to 195" x 79" x 79" (5x2x2 Meters) with an accuracy of 3 x 10-4 and repeatability of 2 x 10 -4. The machine is calibrated, certified and traceable to NIST standards. It resides in an environmentally controlled lab with controlled temperatures of 70º ± 3º F and a maximum humidity of 55%. Klune Industries is accepting dimensional inspection jobs utilizing this CMM for both large and small parts, in production quantities or small quantities. Fully automated, computer controlled programmed operation is available for repetitive measurement of production runs of parts. Parts involving contoured surfaces may be accurately checked against CAD models using precise measurements of their surface at specific locations.
