Leading Klune Industries
After managing successfully several business ventures outside and inside Klune Industries and completing the executive MBA program at USC, Gordon officially became CEO of the company in 1996. From 1996 to 2008 the revenue of Klune Industries grew from $18 million to $115 million in sales. Today, Gordon actively promotes organic growth, winning large contract awards on key Aerospace and Defense programs and platforms. He also drives a series of strategic initiatives in order to expand Klune Industries portfolio of capabilities, including today Sheet Metal Forming, Machining, Casting and Assemblies.
Implementing a Vision
Gordon Clune's emphasis is on concurrent engineering and new business development. He is leveraging Klune Industries expertise in both ultra-light and ultra-resistant metallic structures in order to support the most innovative programs in the industry, including aircraft, helicopters and missile systems. His vision and goal is to facilitate mobility in a global and safer world. As the co-founder of TAC-V, a start-up company developing rapid deployment tactical vehicles, he is working together with the US military to provide the optimal solution for modern warfare.
