Gantry milling is a specialized machining process that is used to machine large monolithic parts that fit a very large envelope while sticking to very tight tolerances.
Technology
Gantry mills are very large multiple axis CNC controlled machinery that are built with single or multiple spindles that turn at low or high speeds. The machining beds can be as long as 50 ft and as wide as 30 ft.
