Apache Strap Kits
Klune provides the flight critical strap kit for the Apache helicopter rotor.
Challenge
Klune has to manage for this program 60+ parts that are either manufactured directly by Klune Industries or sourced from a complex supplier network. The kitting process, entirely completed in our Spanish Fork Facility, involves a series of detailed parts and requires comprehensive product testing.
Remedy
Klune has set-up a dedicated and highly trained assembly team and has put in place a specific testing procedure in line with our customer's product requirements. An integrated Program Management Team (IPT) runs the program.
Results
The Apache Strap Kit program has established Klune as a preferred supplier for flight critical components and complex component kitting.
