GMLRS Fuselage
Klune provides critical components for the fuselage and structure of the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS).
Challenge
Klune has to produce several large and complex machined cast parts with a focus on consistency in the production process to meet the high volume requirements on the GMLRS platform.
Remedy
An specific integration team has been set-up between both Klune's machining and investment casting divisions to support a seamless and lean material and product flow.
Results
This has established Klune Industries has a one-stop shop solution providing both precision casting and machining in high quantities on the same platform.
