Goodrich Legacy Castings
Klune provides aluminum and stainless steel investment castings to support some of Goodrich Aerostructures key legacy programs and spare parts requirements.
Challenge
Klune has to manage a 100+ investment casting tool inventory with part numbers requiring weekly just-in-time deliveries and spare parts following a specific delivery pattern.
Remedy
Following the acquisition of our investment castings capability in 2006, the Klune team has implemented a comprehensive Continuous Improvement and Policy Deployment program in order to meet our customer's quality and delivery performance requirements.
Results
This has definitively established Klune Industries as a preferred supplier for investment castings for the aerospace and defense industry.
