Challenge
Klune has to manage an aluminum investment casting with highly complex geometry that is critical to the Humvee weapon equipment.
Remedy
Following the acquisition of our investment castings capability in 2006, the Klune team has implemented a comprehensive Continuous Improvement and Policy Deployment program in order to meet our customer's quality and delivery performance requirements.
Results
This program has contributed to extend Klune Industries investment castings capability to larger and more complex cast parts.
