Precision Machining
 When
the need is precision machining, nobody is better equipped
than Klune Industries. Customers turn to us for our ability
to handle a wide variation in part type and size. They can
rely on us to deliver a uniformly high degree of accuracy.
We
routinely handle parts and assemblies ranging from extremely
small and delicate (e.g. missile seeker components) to 20-feet
long (e.g., missile launchers). We can easily machine a part
30" x 35" x 120" in our sophisticated CNC machines
without repositioning. This enables us to maintain tight tolerances
even on complex parts.
Our
automated equipment can also accept a wide variety of materials
- from extremely soft substances (aluminum and non-metallics)
to extremely hard materials (Hastelloy) that are typically
difficult to machine. We also confidently machine exotic metals
such as titanium.
Klune
Industries operates in-house laser equipment allowing us to
confirm machine accuracies as close as .00005 inches. Practically,
our machines are repeatable to +/-.0002 inches.
Our
production is supported by 80 multiple-axis CNC machines.
These include:

- CNC EDM
Klune
Industries also maintains 120 conventional machines that give
us the ability to do:
- Broaching
- Gear and key cutting
- ID/OD
ball cutting
- Grinding
- Numerous other specialized machining operations required
to finish the product
